Join us for a policy breakfast talk in the Social Science Matrix. Many cities are seeking solutions for the housing affordability crisis that was temporarily paused by eviction moratoriums, state funded rental assistance programs, and stimulus payments. While the Bay Area has expressed a commitment to the notion that Housing is a Human Right, what does it mean to implement this government responsibility? Local electeds committed to ensuring housing as a human right will share ideas, plans and questions about how to implement housing as a human right. Roundtable breakfast hosted by Councilmembers Carroll Fife (Oakland) and Kate Harrison (Berkeley).
Pastries and coffee will be provided.
