Kagure Wamunyu, UC Berkeley alumna and presenter in the 2017-2018 GMS Lecture Series, was named by Business Daily Africa as one of Kenya’s top 40 women under 40

She has a double degree major in mathematics and civil engineering, a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of California Berkeley, USA. Kagure currently working as senior director of strategy for Bridge International Academies in Kenia and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Oxford.
